The ARRI EF Mount with an LBUS connector is a new, wider light baffle that illuminates Super 35 and large format sensor areas.
Canon EF lenses’ internal motors can be controlled with the WCU-4, SXU-1, OCU-1 or Master Grips. Lens metadata (focal length & iris, no focus) are passed through to the camera.
The EF Mount (LBUS) can be used on ALEXA Mini LF, ALEXA Mini and AMIRA cameras, but only ALEXA Mini LF and ALEXA Mini support the LBUS connector. The EF Mount (LBUS) does not require a specific Software Update Package.
