The tripod and head system has a maximum height of 60.9" and a robust 39.7 lb load capacity, all while folding down to 25.2" and weighing only 5 lb. Designed without a center column, the tripod and head have a compact profile and a low minimum height of 6.6", making it easy to carry in a backpack or large camera bag. The 4-section legs feature flip-lock joints for fast and simple setup, and they fold out into three locking leg angles for shooting at eye level down to ground level.
The L-324F has a ballast hook for adding a weight bag for improved stability, and the leg's rubber feet can be removed to reveal steel spikes for traction on slick surfaces. The leg apex features a 1/4"-20 female accessory mount and a 3/8"-16 accessory mount for customizing your setup. Additionally, the spring-loaded head mounting screw converts from 3/8"-16 to 1/4"-20, accommodating virtually any tripod head.
